Our ART purchasing have fixed rules concerning the cooperation of the ART and their suppliers, including the purchasing of parts, assemblies or systems. Only approved and verified suppliers will be selected to deliver series parts and performances.

Purchasing, like any other branch, has been confronted with the obvious change in customer demand: the change from parts supply to systems supply and the corresponding systems responsibility. Thus, our suppliers have been obliged to special agreements concerning quality assurance and quality management. Our main focus is on the following subjects:

Active Quality Management System
No incoming inspection of received good
Warranty time limit and consequential cost
Spare parts supply
Accessibility / Data Exchange

We cooperate with our suppliers on the base of long-term partnership.
Since our purchased parts volume amounts to more than 50% of our production costs, our cost management proves a permanent challenge to these partnerships.  

Our customers use to be involved in the qualifying of suppliers. Our suppliers, on the other hand, use to be involved in continuous optimization of customized performances.
Partnerships in customer service and laboratory service have proved of highest significance. Our suppliers should be ready to develop the state-of-the-art being trend-setters within their branch.

We have declared environmental protection as our obligation. Naturally, we select suppliers according to that.
